Page Manager

The Page Manager is your command center for every page in your project. From here you can add, rename, reorder, duplicate, and delete pages — all without leaving Site Designer.

Opening Page Manager

Click the first icon in the left toolbar (it looks like stacked pages) to open the Page Manager panel. All pages in your current project appear as a list, showing each page’s name and its template type icon.

You can also press Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+P (macOS) to toggle the panel open and closed.

Adding a new page

  1. Click the + button

At the top of the Page Manager panel, click the + (Add Page) button. A dialog appears asking how you want to start.

  2. Choose a starting point

Select Blank Page to start with a clean canvas, or pick a Template to begin with a pre-built layout. Template thumbnails are filterable by framework (Foundation, Bootstrap, Materialize, or Blank).

  3. Name the page

Enter a name for the new page. Site Designer uses this name as both the display label and the exported filename (e.g., “About Us” becomes about-us.html). Click Create to add it.

Renaming a page

Double-click any page name in the list to enter edit mode. Type the new name and press Enter to confirm, or Esc to cancel. The exported filename updates to match.

Duplicating a page

Right-click any page in the list and choose Duplicate from the context menu. Site Designer creates an exact copy — including all elements, styles, and scripts — appended to the end of the page list with “Copy” added to the name. Rename it immediately to avoid confusion.

Deleting a page

Right-click the page and choose Delete. A confirmation dialog appears warning that this action cannot be undone. Click Delete Page to confirm.

Reordering pages

Drag any page row up or down in the list to change its order. The order in Page Manager determines the order pages appear when exported and in any auto-generated navigation menus.

Setting the home page

Right-click any page and choose Set as Home. A small house icon appears next to the page name, confirming it is now the home page. The home page always exports as index.html, regardless of its display name.

Page type icons

Each page displays a small icon to the left of its name indicating its origin:
